The next meeting of Town Council will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Town Hall. The public is encouraged to attend..

The next meeting for the 100th Anniversary will be held at Town Hall on Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 7:00 PM. If you did not sign up for the committee you are still welcome to attend this meeting.

Thank you to the following citizens for agreeing to serve on the Anniversary Committee: Juliette Osborne, Amanda and Olivia McConnell, Bill and Ginie Turbeville, Pat Goodwin, Marti Smith, Cheryl Wingard, Blanche Odom, Tammy Hicks, Connie Gibbons, Deloris Ford, Archie Coker, and Benton Blakely. We still need more members.

Pine Grove United Methodist Church Women have a new cookbook, “Puddin” Swamp Revisited. The cost is $20.00 and can be purchased at Town Hall.

Screen on the Green will be showing September 14, 2013 at sunset and if there is a rainout the movie will be shown on Sunday evening. The movie for the month of September is “The Avengers”.

Coming in August Girls Volleyball (ages 5-12) and Football signups. Signup sheets can be picked up at Town Hall or in the schools after the new school year begins.

Reminder to all Businesses Town Business License are due July 31, 2013.
