The next meeting of Town Council will be held at 6:30 on Tuesday January the 12th at Town Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.

Town Council passed the final reading of ORDINANCE NO. 2015-02 Section 7-44 Removal of animal excrement at the Tuesday, December 8, 2015 Town Council Meeting. The owner or custodian of an animal shall immediately collect, remove and dispose of all excrement deposited by such animal on any public property, street, right of way, sidewalk, public playground, or upon private property owned by others. The owner or custodial shall place excrement in a plastic bag or other suitable container and deposit the collection in an approved waste receptacle.

Violation of this section is a misdemeanor and is subject to the following: 1st offense written warning, 2nd offense $25.00 fine, and 3rd offense Court appearance.

Town Hall will be closed on the following dates: December 24 & 25, 2015, and January 1, 2016.

PLEASE DON’T THROW YOUR TRASH OUT ON OUR STREETS OR ROADS. Please help us keep Turbeville a trash free TOWN by putting your trash in a trash can, not on the streets.

The Town of Turbeville will allow the use of Bank Drafts to pay Water Bills. Please come by Town Hall to fill out the necessary paperwork.

For the Town of Turbeville Water or Sewer Emergencies occurring during the hours that the Town Hall Office is closed, Please Call Dispatch in Manning at 803-435-8877 to report the Problem.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! All past due bills (full amount) NOT paid by the day before CUTOFF DAY (cutoff day is always the second Wednesday of each month) will be charged a $35.00 reconnection fee.

Any debris to be picked up by the town must be bagged leaves or limbs (should not to exceed 4 feet long).
