The next meeting of Town Council will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, January 8,2013, at Town Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.

Anyone that receives water from the Town of Turbeville can also sign up for trash collection. If you are interested in this service come by Town Hall and sign up. You do not have to live in the Town of Turbeville to receive this service.

Town Hall will be closed on December 24 and 25 to observe Christmas Holidays and January 1 to observe New Years.

The Town Of Turbeville will be celebrating its 100 birthday in 2014. We need volunteers to help on committees and come up with ideas so that we can have a great birthday celebration. Please call Town Hall at 843-659-2781 if you have any ideas or if you are willing to serve on a committee.

Congratulations to Mr. Kelvin Lemon, Principal of East Clarendon Middle/High School, for being named The 2013 South Carolina Secondary Principal of The Year. Mr. Lemon will go to Washington, DC later this year to compete for the 2014 National Secondary Principal of the Year.Wewish Mr. Lemon the best in his quest to be named the best.

2013 Turbeville Baseball and Softball Leagues will be taking applications every Saturday in the month of January at Pine Grove Gym from 9:00am to 12:00noon. Or you may pick up an application at Town Hall. Coaches meeting February 5, 2013 6:00pm at Smith Field.
