The next meeting of Town Council will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Town Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.

For the Town of Turbeville Water or Sewer Emergencies occurring during the hours that the Town Hall Office is closed, Please Call Dispatch in Manning at 803-435-8877 to report the Problem.
The Town of Turbeville will allow the use of Bank Drafts to pay Water Bills. Please come by Town Hall to fill out the necessary paperwork.
Any debris to be picked up by the town must be bagged leaves or limbs (should not to exceed 4 feet long).
Screen on the Green will return Saturday, August 8, 2015. The Movie will be BOX TROLLS. Start time is dusk.
Turbeville Recreation 2015 Football and Volleyball Registration will begin on July 13, 2015. Football registration will close on August 28, 2015 and Volleyball will close on September 4, 2015. Please turn in applications at Town Hall or Turbeville Recreation Department at Smith Field. Applications are available at Town Hall.
NOTICE is hereby given that a General Election will be held in the Town of Turbeville on the 3rd of November, 2015 for the purpose of filling the seats of the Mayor and 2 Council Members.
FILING of candidates can be made at the Clarendon County Voter Registration and Election Office, 411 Sunset Drive, Manning, SC. Filing will open on August 6, 2015 at 12:00pm and remain open during regular business hours until September 4, 2015 at 12:00pm. Candidates must present a Statement of Intention of Candidacy when filing. This form is available in the “candidate information” section of scVotes.org and at the Clarendon County Voter Registration and Election Office, 411, Sunset Drive, Manning, SC.
STATE ETHICS FILINGS: Candidates are required to file a Statement of Economic Interests and a Campaign Disclosure online with the State Ethics Commission at http://ethics.sc.gov.
We would like to welcome Extreme Taekwondo Center, a new business to the Town of Turbeville. Extreme Taekwondo is located at 1534 Main Street. Classes are offered to anyone ages 5-Adults. If interested contact Zach Strickland at 803-460-1232 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
A tentative date of August 15, 2015 from 1-6pm, has been set for
Summer Fun Day on Town Square. Water slides and water games will
be the featured attraction. Refreshments will also be sold. Look
for more information to come. This event is sponsored by Extreme
Taekwondo Center. There will be an
Walker-Gamble Elementary School Word of the Month for August is RESPECT.
BENEFIT SING FOR MISS ZOE HARBER: Miss Zoe is 4 years old and
diagnosed on February 13, 2015 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She
will receive treatments weekly at MUSC for the next 2 ½ years and follow-up
appointments will continue for 10 years. A love offering will be received at the
benefit. All proceeds will go to help with medical expenses. The Benefit Sing
will be at The Turbeville First Baptist Church on August 1, 2015 at 6:00PM
featuring The Gregg Floyd Family & the Final Call Quartet.
