The next meeting of Town Council will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Town Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.

For the Town of Turbeville Water or Sewer Emergencies during the hours that the Town Hall Office is closed, Please Call Dispatch in Manning at 803-435-8877 or call 911 and report the Emergency.
The Town of Turbeville will allow the use of Bank Drafts to pay Water Bills. Please come by Town Hall to fill out the necessary paperwork.
Walker-Gamble Elementary School Word of the Month for February is COURAGE.
Any yard debris to be picked up by the town must be bagged leaves or limbs not to exceed 4 feet long.
Turbeville Recreation Department will begin taking 2015 Baseball and Softball applications every Saturday in the month of January at the East Clarendon Gym from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. If you can’t get by the school, applications can be picked up at Town Hall. Coaches meeting will be held on February 12th at 6:00pm at Smith Field.
Turbeville Ruritan Club will hold a Pancake
Supper on February 19, 2015 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the East
Clarendon High School Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for Adults and
$3 for Children. See any Ruritan Member to purchase a ticket
or you can purchase one at the door.
Electronics Recycling Day will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 8am to 12 noon at the Turbeville IGA. This event is for Clarendon County residents only. No business e-waste, please.
Accepted items: Televisions (screens must be intact), Monitors, Video Display Devices, all intact computers, CPU’s, keyboards, mice, printers, CD/DVD players, game consoles, small handheld electronics, cell phones, stereo tuners, radios, speakers, microwaves, and vacuum cleaners.
Not Accepted items: Refrigerators, washing machines, clothes dryers, dish washers, Mercury Containing Devices, Hazardous Waste Chemicals, light bulbs, Florescent tubes, and Bio Waste. For more information, please contact Vickie Williams at 803-433-4004.
The 8th Annual Puddin Swamp Festival will be held on April 16-18, 2015. If you are interested in being a sponsor, the form can be found online. The Taste is April 16, 2015: Tickets $20.00, The K-5 Run is April 17 (can register on line), Events on Town Square are from 10am-11pm Saturday, April 17. All details about the festival can be found at www.puddinswamp.com. Craft vendor applications can be found on line or at Town Hall, sorry all food vendors are full.
