The next Town Council Meeting will be held at 6:30pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. The Public is encouraged to attend.

East Clarendon High School Homecoming is October 27, 2017 at 7:30pm. The Homecoming Parade will start at 4:00pm. Homecoming week will begin on October 23, 2017 with a Bonfire starting at 7:30pm at the Tennis Courts.

Please be advised that if you are attending the East Clarendon Football Games, you should not park in the yards of any town resident unless you have prior permission from that home owner. The home owner has the right to have your vehicle towed away at your expense. Please be respectful of other people’s property.

We have received several complaints from citizens about dogs coming on their property and leaving waste. A Reminder to all Animal Owners that there is an Ordinance that requires all owners to clean up all animal excrement.

A Dedication Ceremony will be held on Friday November 10, 2017 at 4:00pm at the corner of Hickory Grove Road and Pope Street. This Crossroads is being named in honor of Mr. James Witherspoon, a lifelong resident and friend of the Citizens of Turbeville and Clarendon County.

In the Town of Turbeville for Water or Sewer Emergencies occurring during the hours that the Town Hall Office is closed, please call Dispatch in Manning at 803-435-8877 to report the problem.

The Turbeville Business Association is sponsoring “Trunk or Treat” on October 21, 2017 on Town Square starting at 4:00pm. There will be activities for the children followed by a movie. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy this event.

Make plans to attend Santa’s arrival and the annual Town of Turbeville Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 4:00pm. Anyone interested in having an entry in the parade should contact Margie Edge at Town Hall.

Council on Aging 206 S. Church Street, Manning is sponsoring a Fall Festival Weekend on November 3-4, 2017. Sip for Seniors and a Silent Auction will be held on Friday November 3rd from 6-8pm. Cost for tickets are $20.00. Saturday Events are from 10:00am-1:00pm and they are Free. Call 803-435-8593 for more information.
